Awake-Update finally in review

Just a quick note to all people who mailed me about problems with Awake and iOS 4: An update fixing the crashes is finally in review!

Besides the fixes I also changed Awake a bit. First there will be only ads for our own Apps in it, no more AdMob-Ads. So, hopefully all those users saying I wrote a piece of spy-ware are willing to change their review? We will see…

And secondly, Awake should now work with some devices (Router/Mac/PC-Combo’s) via WLAN! So, with some setups you might not need a cable connection for the device you try to wake! I currently can’t predict what works and what not, so don’t be disappointed when it won’t work for you.

And to all People who didn’t send an e-mail (99%) but spammed the AppStore-Comments: You *do* know that I can’t answer to those comments to ask you for further assistance, right? Just asking…

iMekka 2 ist fertig!

Heimlich still und leise haben wir weiter an iMekka gearbeitet und es an vielen Stellen überarbeitet und grafisch verbessert. Neben der Himmelsrichtung nach Mekka zeigt iMekka 2 jetzt auch die Gebetszeiten für Ihren aktuellen Standort an. So ersparen Sie sich auf Reisen das Umrechnen der Zeitzonen und verpassen kein Gebet mehr.

Außerdem ist iMekka 2 durch einen neuen Entwickler geschrieben worden: Fabian Kreiser! Damit einhergehend ist iMekka 2 eine neue, eigenständige Applikation im App Store. Damit Sie als Kunde von iMekka trotzdem zu ihrem kostenlosen Update kommen, haben wir iMekka 2 kostenlos im App Store für Sie bereit gestellt! Wir sind der Meinung, dass UPdates kostenlos sein sollten, auch dann, wenn der Entwickler wechselt! Damit möchten wir allen bisherigen Kunden ein Danke schön für Ihre bisherige Unterstützung senden.

Mein Budget 3.3 ist im Store!

Mein Budget 3.3 ist endlich im AppStore angekommen! Neben den Anpassungen an die Änderungen bei T-Mobile von Ende Januar gibt es zwei neue Features:

MBs Queransicht zeigt das verbrauchte Budget – egal ob Minuten, SMS/MMS oder MByte – als Zeigerinstrumente an. Auf einen Blick sieht man so den aktuellen Füllstand des eigenen T-Mob-Kontos.

Zudem hat die App einen eigenen News-Kanal spendiert bekommen. Die Eilmeldungen können wahlweise in den Einstellungen ein- oder ausgeschaltet werden. Per Default sind sie erst einmal an, damit jeder von euch auf dem neusten Stand ist und direkt über Änderungen oder Probleme unterrichtet wird.

Wir begrüßen unseren neuen Team-Kollegen und Gastautoren Jean-Pierre Gensert im Software-Diner! Jean-Pierre ist unser Spezialist für neue Ideen und Märkte – auf Neudeutsch heißt das wohl Entrepreneur und unsere Mega-Marketing-Maschine, die iMekka zu einer der bestverkauften Mekka-Apps im AppStore gemacht hat. Die Chancen stehen gut, dass Du seine Arbeit bereits in Deutschland oder sonst irgendwo auf der Welt wie etwa in New York, London oder Paris gesehen hast.

Wir freuen uns, dass er nun auch seine breite Erfahrung als iPhone-Anwender und App-Tester im Diner einbringt. In loserFolge werden nun also auch Blog-Post von JP zu finden sein, in denen er über seine Lieblings-Apps, den Stand der Welt oder einfach nur sein bestes Keks-Rezept berichten wird. Wir werden sehen.

The big ones in the AppStore seem to be very very thankful this year. Guess they all made a penny or two selling their games on the AppStore. ;)
Anyway, for the rest of us this means a lot of fun during the holydays and beyond. The big ones like Namco, Electronic Arts and Gameloft reduced many of their titels to as low as $0.79! So, just get wild and buy some…

After the break we have a list of the games that we consider the ones you have to buy. If new ones are added, we will let you know!

Ravensword is now available!

Ravensword, the highly anticipated new role playing game is now available on the AppStore. After first review, Apple rejected the game due to it’s use of the UNITY-Engine but now, things seem cool again. The UNITY-Engine was changed and Ravensword was uploaded for review again and there it is. No reason to leave the iPhone-Market just yet… ;o)

So, If you ask me, this game looks absolutely fantastic…will give it a try someday soon…for now, here’s the official game trailer for you:
