Skippy XL and Skippy Lite
Skippy is a modern implementation of the ancient board game known as “Peg Solitaire” in the USA. In the United Kingdom it is simply known as “Solitaire” (don’t mistake it for the card game).
It is popular throughout Europe since the 18th and 19th century. Though it could never be proven, it is said that the game was invented by an aristocratic prisoner while incarcerated in the French Bastille.
Skippy is available in two flavours:
Skippy XL features 8 different materials and 20 boards. This should be enough for quite some time of playing. More boards and materials can be added via Internet-Download once they are available.
Skippy Lite features just one board and one material but it’s free. This is for those who want to try before they buy.
